Yolly ("we", "us", or "our") operates yolly.dev. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep things simple because Yolly is a personal tally tracker — your data is yours.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Account information — email address and authentication credentials when you sign up or log in.
Usage data — the counters you create and the tally entries you record.
Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

How We Use Your Information

To operate and maintain your Yolly account.
To sync your data across your devices.
To diagnose bugs and improve the service.
To send transactional emails (e.g., password reset). We do not send marketing email.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the United States. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required by law.

Third-Party Services

Yolly uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
Netlify — web hosting (netlify.com/privacy)

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes all associated data from our systems.

Children's Privacy

Yolly is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Yolly after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
